New ‘The Speak’ host Akbar Gbajabiamila shadowed Michael Strahan to arrange for the gig
Former NFL participant Gbajabiamila will be part of Sheryl Underwood, Amanda Kloots and Jerry O’Connell for the upcoming Season 12.
In an effort to get some suggestions for the internet hosting gig, he known as fellow athlete turned “Good Morning America” host Michael Strahan for assist.
“I simply cold-called and stated, ‘Hey, , I like what you are doing. I am enthusiastic about what you are doing. Can I shadow you?'” he recalled.
Gbajabiamila known as Strahan “one of many coolest dudes on the planet and such a humbling, gracious man.”
“He was simply dropping me dimes, similar to, nuggets right here and there, right here and there. And so I am ceaselessly grateful for that point and that chance,” he advised the publication. “We nonetheless keep involved. Gbajabiamila is wanting ahead to beginning, saying he loves being in a group setting.
“I am so pleased to be part of this, along with this group,” he stated.
