9 years after kidnapping, Nigerian military once more finds two “schoolgirls from Chibok” – Muricas News

The Nigerian military has recovered two younger girls who have been kidnapped by the Boko Haram terrorist group in 2014 together with different schoolgirls. Within the meantime, 14 ladies have been discovered in recent times, the military reported on Thursday.

The military introduced Hauwa Maltha and Esther Marcus to the press on Thursday. They have been already rescued on April 21. They have been 12 years outdated on the time of the kidnapping. They have been compelled to marry Boko Haram jihadists.

On April 14, 2014, 276 ladies, aged 12 to 17, have been kidnapped from a college in Chibok, Borno State, Nigeria. The Boko Haram kidnapping operation sparked outrage worldwide. Many victims have since been launched or discovered.

Of the 276 ladies, 57 have been capable of flee and 80 others have been launched after an change for Boko Haram officers following negotiations with the federal government. Different ladies have been later discovered, most of them now had kids. 96 ladies are nonetheless lacking.
