Bangladesh, Myanmar brace for cyclone Mocha, now in prime hurricane class: US | World News

Cyclone Mocha intensified into the equal of a class 5 hurricane because it barrelled via the Bay of Bengal in direction of Myanmar and Bangladesh, the US Joint Hurricane Warning Centre mentioned on Sunday.

The storm was packing most sustained winds of 140 knots (259 km/h), the centre mentioned in a forecast replace, equal to a class 5 hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind scale.
