Tony Awards is not going to be televised this 12 months as a result of the Writers Guild of America(WGA) have denied a request for a strike waiver from the current’s producers. As per a report by Choice, the waiver request was filed with the WGA last week.
As per the report, actress Ariana DeBose who was set to return as host, will cancel if the strike stays to be on. The actress was pretty obsessed with her return as host when it was launched on April 12.

As per the schedule launched, the 76th Tony Awards ceremony was set to occur on June 11, 2023 on the United Palace in New York’s Washington Heights. The ceremony was marketed to start at 8 p.m. ET and air keep on CBS, along with the streaming service Paramount+.
