Leaders from the Group of Seven nations agreed to new sanctions on Friday that they said would “starve Russia of G7 experience, industrial gear and firms that assist its battle machine”.

The measures, launched at a summit in Hiroshima, embrace restrictions on exports of issues “vital to Russia on the battlefield”, along with ones specializing in entities accused of shifting supplies to the doorway for Moscow.
